PNC Bank
Smart. Steady. Reliable. How boring. But in a world of bank failures, crypto hype, and too-good-to-be-true money schemes, boring starts to look pretty brilliant. For over a century, PNC has grown responsibly and kept customers’ money safe. Because when it comes to your finances, boring isn’t just smart—it’s the boldest move you can make.
This is a collection some of the things I had the pleasure of working on together with the fine people at Arnold Worldwide.

problem
Terrible get-rich-quick content has been flooding the internet
The internet is littered with self-proclaimed money gurus peddling questionable schemes. Unfortunately, more people are taking financial advice from these creators than from actual experts.
What we did about it
Parody of the format to deliver PNC Bank's message
We hijacked the format by producing our own content and letting them blend right in. Each one ended with a reminder that smart, steady moves aren’t sketchy.
We later discovered that it was organically shared on Reddit and got some extremley postive responses (last one is a bit confused, but they got the spirit).
For the 2026 PNC Championship, an annual golf tournament for two-player teams, consisting of PGA Tour and Champions Tour golfers and their sons, we let self-delivering robots loose so people can get a taste of the most brilliantly boring ice cream flavor- vanilla (and of course merch as well).
PNC Bank deployed a fleet of “mobile branches”, targeting areas with under-served communities to provide banking services to those who need it most. These include meeting with a personal banker, opening a checking account, applying for a personal loan, credit card or mortgage, receiving or replacing a PNC debit card, receiving assistance with digital services, and ATM services. This is what we made it it look like.
We were tasked with making a billboard that would live at the Indianapolis Fairgrounds intersection. Since this unit bends by 90 degrees, the initial plan was to simply show the same visual on either side. That felt extremely lame, so we turned this 90-degree bug into it’s core feature that standard billboards can’t replicate. This photo is a comp, you can check it out existing for real on Google Street View here.
Some of the many paid social, banners, and OOHs we made across PNC Bank’s various lines of business.
